A radio programme can keep you company while you work, cook or take a break. If you want to listen to Intsetse FM through the website, start with the station’s Listen Live page. You can also open the programme schedule to decide when to tune in.
Start with the live player
Open the Listen Live page in your browser and press the play button. Keep the page open while you listen. Check the player’s volume as well as your phone or computer volume; either control can make an otherwise working stream seem silent.
If you use headphones or a Bluetooth speaker, confirm that sound is going to the device you expect. A phone can remain connected to a speaker in another room. Disconnecting that device briefly is a useful way to check where the audio is playing.
If the stream will not play
Try these checks one at a time so you can tell what helped:
- Press play again after the page finishes loading.
- Confirm that another website opens on the same connection.
- Close other tabs that are playing sound.
- Refresh the player page, then press play again.
- If possible, compare your Wi-Fi and mobile-data connections.
Repeatedly opening new player tabs can create overlapping sound. Close the extra tabs before testing again. A temporary interruption does not necessarily mean your device is faulty; the connection or broadcast may also be interrupted.
Make listening part of your routine
Bookmark the live page and check the schedule for shows that interest you. An open website is not a recording, so do not assume you can replay a programme after it finishes.
If a problem continues, contact Intsetse FM with the time, your device, the browser you used and a short description of what happened. Those details are more useful than simply saying the radio is not working.
