CAO’s official 2027 leaflet explains its online Change of Mind route for updating programme choices. It instructs applicants to rank the new choices, make the required payment and re-enter existing choices they want to retain. Use the current official process rather than assuming that an informal email changes the application.
Write the complete intended list first
Before opening the update form, write every programme you want on the resulting application in its intended order. Mark which choices are retained, removed or added. This makes the change deliberate and helps prevent a retained choice from being accidentally omitted.
Our suggested review pairs each programme code with the institution, campus and entry term. Compare each entry with the current programme list before submitting. Similar course names should not be used as a substitute for checking the actual code.
Check the reason for the change
Ask what new information led you to revise the choice. It may be a clearer understanding of course content, location or requirements. Write that reason down and check the underlying fact through the institution.
If you are changing because an outcome is uncertain, read the current application record first. A change does not itself guarantee a place or remove a programme’s entry requirements.
Keep proof of the update
Follow the official payment and submission instructions and retain confirmation privately. After processing, check that the programme list reflects your intended choices and order. Record the date you checked.
If the displayed record differs from what you submitted, contact CAO through its official channels with the relevant reference and evidence. Keep your course planning and follow-up notes together so that the next action remains clear.
